With the opportunity to officiate the wedding of my friend Peter Cunningham in September 2025 in Colorado, Linda and I took a two-week road trip through some beautiful scenery and with great friends.

Omaha Nebraska

Linda’s Dad was in the Air Force. Each of the 4 kids were born near different Air Force bases. Linda was born in Omaha Nebraska, home to Offutt Air Force Base.

Commerce City Colorado

Visited our friends Tana Cunningham and her fiancée Eric Leon in their new home east of Denver. Enjoyed a big steak dinner and time with their two good dogs.

Denver Colorado

Attended a Colorado Rockies Game at Coors Field. Worst record in baseball, a small crowd, but still a great ballpark.

I was bring your dog to the ballpark night.

Breckenridge Colorado

Visited Tim and Cindy at Dave Moline’s spacious condo. Walked through the quaint downtown shops.

Gypsum Colorado

Played golf with the wedding party at Gypsum Creek Golf Course. Some spectacular golf holes with mountain views.

Eagle Colorado

Setup for the wedding at an incredible ranch with a pond and a mountain view! The wedding rehearsal went well.

The Wedding of Peter and Kate was a beautiful ceremony.

Peter and Kate are a beautiful couple!

Grizzly is a big part of Peter and Kate’s family.

Colorado Springs, Colorado

Garden of the Gods is a very unique place. The rock formations are incredible!

Took a Jeep ride through the mountains.

Manitou Springs Colorado

Took the Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak. The view from the top is amazing!

Drove across the prairie through Kansas and Iowa on our way back home. Some pretty spots, but not as spectacular as Colorado.
